Wood Pellet Production Line Drawing
Production Line Design will be modified according to the raw material.
A complete wood pellet production line including several different system to process raw material into pellet.
When the client use wood log as material to make Din Plus/EN Plus-A1 standard wood pellet, the production line including following system:
1. Wood log debarking system. (Remove the log barks, ensure low ash content of the final product wood pellet.)
2. Chipping system. (Chipping wood logs into small size wood chips, which is suitable for hammer mill crushing.)
3. Grinding system. (Grind the wood chips into sawdust by the hammer mill. )
4. Drying system. (Decrease the sawdust MC (moisture content) to a suitable data around 15% for pellet press.)
5. Pelleting system ( Wood pellet machine will press the dry sawdust into pellet.)
6. Cooling system. ( Cool down the high temperature pellet, remove the MC at the same time.)
7. Packing system.( Pack wood pellet in small bag 15-25kg/bag, or in bulk storage as per needs.)

Here below is the photo & description on each system of the wood pellet production line:
1. Wood Log Debarking Machine
It is the main machine of the debarking system, it is used for removing the barks of the wood logs, ensure the final product wood pellet contain little ash.
There are 2 type of wood log debarker in the market. One type is single roller type, the other type is double roller type.
Length of the log debarker can be customized for the pellet line.

2. Wood Log Chipping Machine

The drum wood chipper is a standard part of the wood pellet line, which is used for chipping wood logs into small standard wood chips(30*30*3mm), ensure the following grinding system running smoothly.

3. Hammer Mill

Hammer mill is used for crushing wood chips into small size wood sawdust. As usual, screen hole diameter is 6mm/8mm/10mm. We recommend suitable type according to the raw material and pellet diameter.
4. Drying Machine
There are 4 type of dryer in the market so far. Air pipe dryer is suitable for very small capacity pellet line, around 100-200kg/h.
Single drum dryer is suitable for drying wood chips.
Three-pass drum dryer is more suitable for drying sawdust with less floor space occupation and high efficiency.
Belt dryer is for high end user only.

5. Pellet Mill System

Pellet Machine is used for pressing powder material sawdust..etc into pellet. It is the core heart of the pellet plant. We have different type of pellet machine for choice, like the photo above. This is CPM type pellet machine.

This kind of pellet machine is suitable for pressing soft wood, hard wood, grass, straw, waste paper..etc into pellet.
Stable running, high capacity. The 4-step gear transmission system ensure the high transmission efficiency.
6. Cooling Machine / Cooler
Cooling machine is used for cooling down the hot pellet, decrease the high temperature to room temperature. Make sure no crack on the surface of the wood pellet.
After the cooling, the pellet will pass through a vibrating screener machine to separate the standard quality pellet & sub-standard quality wood pellet.
We have different model for choice.
The body of the cooler can be made of carbon steel, stainless steel.
7. Packing Machine
Small bag packing machine is PLC controlled with high accuracy, 15-50kg/bag as per needs.
Multi-function display and fault monitoring, automatic diagnosis technology, a variety of data communication interfaces, easy on-site management and centralized control management.
The combination of automatic weighing, filling and conveying is integrated. Compact structure, low Energy consumption with small
noise.
